SafeHandles™ products consist of both shrink and adhesive films designed specifically to cover common touch points such as door handles, stair railings and push plates. The films have no odour, are dry to the touch and tests have shown that SafeHandles™ do not cause contact skin allergies.

  • SafeHandles™ films are embedded with an EPA approved antimicrobial active agent that continuously interacts with and deactivates germs that are deposited by facility occupants through their daily use of doors, railings, and other commonly used touch points and surfaces.
  • SafeHandles™ performance is not effected by chlorine or ammonia based cleaners. To ensure optimal performance, SafeHandles™ should be wiped down with a mild cleaner periodically — specific protocol depends on use conditions.
  • SafeHandles™ have undergone extensive bacterial laboratory testing to determine the reduction of targeted bacteria on the film’s surface.
