ABUS 83/45 Mariner Padlock - Keyed Alike or Keyed to Differ

Keyed to differ padlocks each have their own key. No two locks in your order will open with the same key, and each is supplied with its own set of keys.

This is the standard arrangement and it suits situations where different people need access to different things — separate storage areas, individual lockers, or equipment held by different staff. Where you would rather one key opened everything, our keyed alike range is supplied from the factory already matched. (See below for rekeyed locks or otherwise here for factory keyed alike locks)

Keeping track of which key belongs to which lock becomes difficult past a handful of padlocks, so consider keyed alike for anything beyond that.

This padlock has a removable cylinder, so we can key it to a code unique to you rather than a shared factory code. Your key opens your locks and nobody else's.

Tick the option above and every padlock in your order will be keyed alike to a new code, cut in our Brisbane workshop before dispatch. There is a flat charge per padlock and it adds three to five business days to delivery.

Because we keep your code on file, you can order more later and they will match. You can also add different sizes to the same key, or replace a lost key without changing the locks. If you need tighter control again, we can set your locks up on a restricted key system, where keys cannot be cut without your written authority.

Delivery is typically 4–7 business days, we ship within Australia only.

Unopened stock can be returned within 30 days for a refund or exchange — return postage is at your cost. Faulty goods are covered by the manufacturer's warranty; contact us and we'll sort it.

Security Level: 8 out of 10

ABUS provide a security level score in the range of 1 to 10 for all of their padlocks. This is an assessment by ABUS of the level of difficulty in getting that padlock open without the key. So it is an indication of the level of security offered where 10 is the highest level and 1 is the lowest.
